Pop-Up Cellulose Sponges
These cellulose sponges come four to a pack and are made from fifty percent post-consumer recycled materials. Unlike the vast majority of commercial sponges, they are not treated with antimicrobials (which the FDA classifies as pesticides!). They are compostable and biodegradable. They can be disinfected by placing in boiling water, but are inexpensive enough to replace weekly. These sponges save a lot of space; the pack of four is less than 1/4’’ thick - each sponge is 3/8" thick when wet.
